Obviously we can do many, but let's start here:

1. What is the memory/trauma/experience?

For starters, let's go with his initial death with Joe killing him, the torture in Merrick's lab, watching one of Shakespeare's debuts at the Globe, and being Michelangelo's muse for a while (HAVE FUN AHN).

2. How intense is this memory? ie. Is it an old and faded memory, or is it recent and sharp? Is it obviously an old memory but still fresh?

The torture in the lab will be fresh and the others will be faded and sort of scarred over.

3. What type of pain is involved, if any? (Especially important with deaths/injuries/etc.)

Death by scimitar, torture by medical instruments + death, death by gunshot, general appreciation of arts, death by probably choking on something stupidly like a fig at some point.

4. Any other details? Maybe their age, what kind of state they were in, if anyone important was around, etc.

He's a PRECIOUS AND YOUNG 951 years old. Baby's first millennium is coming up. Obviously, through every single memory there will be hints of Joe, whether as enemy in the early days or friend/lover, and then on to soulmate within a few years. Nicky was a feral idiot back in 1099 though, so not a good read to get off of him then.

5. How would your character react to Ahn knowing any of these details? (Depending on how intense the memory is, he might blurt out details, ask how they are, ask how they could go through it, etc.)

He would be calmly amused, curious, and worried all at the same time, but given that he's come to respect and like him, he won't react overly badly.

6. Do you have any canon excerpts/videos/etc?

I mean, obv Old Guard, but here, have the full "He's not my boyfriend" scene.
